Planning public events (promotion, security, etc.), dealing with the media, publicity, propaganda and education, networking with other community organizations. Each participant will get a ARA starter kit. 3. The Neo-Nazi Music Industry Information about this important development in the white power movement, and strategies for organizing against it. 4. Rock 9n Rap Against Racism Making contacts for bigger and better shows! Also, some background of the anti-racist music scene in Europe and North America. 5. Street Art & Propaganda - Creative! 6. Nazis in your Hood An overview of far-right organizations in Canada. 7. Monitoring and Tracking the Fascists Tools for gathering information & passing it on. 8. Anti-Native Hate Groups Background and current wave of attacks on First Nations treaty rights, and strategies for resistance and solidarity 9. Street Kids Against Racism Front-line anti-fascists describe their experiences! 10. Producing Newsletters & Bulletins Participants will actually generate, edit and lay out a conference newsletter to be distributed at the end of the conference. 11. Homophobia, Anti-Choice Terror, & the Christian Right 12. Cops & Klan Discussion about fascist organizing within police, military, immigration, and among prison guards, and broader strategy issues 13. Copwatch ARA Minneapolis shares their experience of monitoring racist police brutality. 14. Unlearning Confronting racism, anti-semitism, ableism, homophobia & sexism in ourselves and around us through activist work. 15. Neo-Nazis & the Law Lawyers & activists talk about suing nazis, charging nazis with criminal offences, and defending anti-racists. 16. Anti-Hate Initiatives in the Workplace and Labour Movement 17.
